Messy is Magic

I’m a B.C. girl born and raised, but currently roaming and residing in the City of Calgary.

I'm a mother, a dreamer and a lover of nature; often found barefoot and covered in paint. 

I like to vary my styles and subjects.

I work in many different mediums.

I’m still experimenting and I work really hard to become a better artist everyday.

After a horrific car accident in 2010, I was left with life changing injuries. 

I suffered a traumatic brain injury. 

My brain sometimes does not allow my mouth to speak.

My mind is more talkative than my mouth.

My mind is so full of thoughts and feelings

I use my art to release my emotions.

Painting helps me express both my deep feelings and what my mouth can not. 

I paint feelings of my own reality and the world around me. 

I use my passion for art to help me heal.

I am a traumatic brain injury survivor.
